Bion introduces the world's first AI dedicated to climate education.

Beyond a virtual assistant, the technology aims to create empathetic experiences and offer simple climate solutions for people of all ages, free of charge

The mission of ClimAI, the world's first AI oriented to help people of all ages and social contexts, is to think of practical and easily implementable actions to combat climate change and improve understanding about the climate crisis and the environment.

Designed in the format of a friendly chatbot adapted to the Brazilian reality, this tool was developed using the ChatGPT API by Bion Global, a Brazilian cleantech company specialized in the convergence of innovation and sustainability.

ClimAI offers a range of content on the environment, climate sciences, nature, people-based solutions (a core concept of the project), mobility, recycling, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), as well as tips on how to consume consciously and live sustainably.

ClimAI is a friendly AI assistant, an expert in climate change and the environment.

"Our solution is currently in the testing phase (beta), but it can already be accessed for free by anyone in need of information about the environment and climate. The chatbot can answer basic questions about climate change and also assist individuals and businesses in calculating their carbon footprint and developing personalized strategies to reduce CO2 emissions. Everything is presented in a very accessible language for the general public," states Marcio Rodrigues, the social entrepreneur ecologist, CEO, and Founder of Bion.

The first fruits of the tree of innovation

The project is being evaluated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in the Digital Innovation Alliance, an innovation event of the G20, which will take place in August in Bangalore, India.

"India is strongly embracing people-based solutions to tackle the climate crisis, which is in complete synergy with the type of solution our platform develops," adds Marcio.

 The latest report on climate crisis mitigation from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) revealed that the world could cut up to 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions through incentives for healthier and more sustainable lifestyles among the population. Bion Global is dedicated to developing technological tools that foster climate action among individuals and enable decarbonization through an innovative rewards system.
